Find tax exemptions

Goal

Browse and open tax exemption certificates that override determination.

Who it is for

Users with tax.view. Delete needs tax.manage.

Preconditions

• Module statutory_compliance enabled.
• Permission tax.view.

Steps

1. Open Accounting → Tax & Compliance → Tax exemptions.
2. Review columns: certificate, party, item, treatment, tax category, reason, validity.
3. Open a row for detail when needed.
4. Choose New exemption to create (tax.manage).
5. Use the trash action to delete an exemption (tax.manage). There is no in-place update API — correct mistakes by deleting and recreating.

Result

You can locate exemptions that affect tax on sales and purchasing documents.
