Goal
Understand work centers as production resources that carry hourly labor and overhead rates used when routing operations are applied on a work order.
Who it is for
Users with manufacturing.view to browse; manufacturing.manage to create/edit.
How they fit
- Work centers are referenced by routing operations.
- When a work-order operation is Apply’d, BlueMatrix values labor + overhead from the work-center rates × actual/planned minutes into WIP.
- There is no delete endpoint — deactivate with Active off, or leave unused.
