Tax determination rule overview
Goal
Understand when to use tax determination rules and how they fit BlueMatrix.
Who it is for
Roles with tax.view (manage needs tax.manage).
Preconditions
- Signed in to the correct tenant.
- Module statutory_compliance must be enabled.
Open the screen
Accounting → Tax & Compliance → Tax determination (/tax/determination).
Concepts
- Inputs: tax category, party type, place of supply, jurisdiction, treatment, tax code, priority.
- Treatments:
standard|zero_rated|exempt|reverse_charge. - Preview via determine API before relying on a rule.
