Routings overview
Goal
Understand routings as ordered operation sequences (setup/run minutes and optional work center) that can be linked on a BOM and snapshotted onto a work order.
Who it is for
manufacturing.view to browse; manufacturing.manage to create/edit.
How they fit
- Define operations with Sequence, optional Work centers, Operation name, Setup (min), Run (min).
- Attach a routing on a BOM (or leave No routing).
- Creating a work order copies routing operations onto the WO; shop floor uses Apply to book labor/overhead into WIP.
