Payroll analytics

Goal

Monitor payroll KPI tiles (runs, gross, net, employer cost, pending remittances) and related journals navigation.

Who it is for

Controllers and payroll leads with payroll_analytics.view (admins: .admin).

Preconditions

• Module payroll_analytics enabled.
• Meaningful KPIs require historical runs under payroll_integration.

Steps

1. Open Payroll → Payroll Analytics.
2. Read summary tiles from the analytics API (run counts, gross/net totals, employer cost, pending remittances).
3. Drill to Payroll journals when you need GL lines tied to accruals/payments (same analytics permission gate in nav).
4. Admins may configure KPI definitions under Payroll Analytics setup.

Result

Leadership sees period payroll cost and backlog without opening each run.
