Commerce catalog sync
Goal
Operate BlueMatrix → Commerce catalog sync: re-sync listings, process the queue, publish flagged items, and sync category taxonomy. This is the staff ops surface for the storefront catalog — not a visual CMS editor.
Who it is for
Users with commerce.view. Publish / heavy sync actions need commerce.publish. Module commerce_platform.
Preconditions
- Commerce platform module enabled and Commerce store connected for the tenant.
- Merchant/storefront runtime and theme ops are covered under Commerce apps Help; this page is sync control from BlueMatrix.
Steps
- Open Trade → Online store → Catalog sync.
- Review queue / task status on the dashboard.
- Use Re-sync all listings when a full push is required (blocked if a resync is already in progress).
- Process queue to drain pending work; Stop task to halt an active job when allowed.
- Publish flagged when items are marked for publish (
commerce.publish). - Sync category taxonomy (optionally with items) after category changes in BlueMatrix.
Result
Listings and categories flow to the Commerce storefront. Public browsing happens on the store host; staff continue to manage masters in BlueMatrix.
