Create a work center

Goal

Add a production resource with hourly costing rates.

Who it is for

Users with manufacturing.manage.

Preconditions

• Manufacturing module on; unique Code available.

Steps

1. Production → Work centers → New work center.
2. Enter Code (required) and Name (translatable).
3. Set Labor rate / hr and Overhead rate / hr (tenant money formatting).
4. Leave Active on unless the center is not yet in use.
5. Save.

Result

The work center appears on the list and can be selected on routing operations.

• Validation 422 if code missing/duplicate or rates invalid.
