Edit a routing

Goal

Change routing header or operations.

Who it is for

manufacturing.manage.

Preconditions

• Routing exists. Existing work orders keep the operation snapshot from create time.

Steps

1. Open Routings → Edit.
2. Update code/name/status or operation minutes/centers.
3. Save.

Result

Edits affect new work orders that snapshot this routing (via the BOM link). Already-created WO operations are unchanged.

Hard stops

• No destroy endpoint — set status inactive to stop selecting it on new masters as appropriate.
